This policy explains how Future Behaviour Ltd ("we", "us", "our") collects and uses your personal data when you visit futurebehaviour.co.uk or get in touch with us. We take your privacy seriously and will only use your information in the ways described below.

What data we collect and why
When you use our contact form, we collect:
- Name — so we know who we're talking to
- Email address — to reply to your enquiry
- School or organisation name — to understand your context (optional)
- Message content — to understand what you need
- Who you are (teacher, school, MAT, other) — to give you a relevant response
We do not collect any special category data. We do not use cookies beyond those strictly necessary for the site to function.
Our lawful basis for processing
We process your contact form data on the basis of legitimate interest — specifically, to respond to your enquiry. We do not use your data for any other purpose without your explicit consent.
What we do not do
- We do not add you to any mailing list without separate, explicit consent.
- We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties.
- We do not send marketing emails based on contact form submissions.
How long we keep your data
We keep enquiry data for up to 12 months after our last contact with you, after which it is deleted. If we enter into a working relationship, we keep relevant data for the duration of that relationship and for up to 6 years afterwards for legal and accounting purposes.
How your data is stored
Contact form submissions are processed by Netlify (our website host) and delivered to us by email. Netlify is GDPR-compliant and stores data within the EU/EEA. You can read Netlify's privacy policy at netlify.com/privacy.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 (as amended by the DUAA 2025), you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct any inaccurate data
- Erase your data ("right to be forgotten")
- Restrict how we process your data
- Object to processing based on legitimate interests
- Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format

Complaints
